Welcome to the 64th Issue !  Mid-October has great weather here in Utah, so I've been out on several "outings" this month & have a few more planned in the next 2 weeks.  I went on a road-trip to the Uintah Mountains & ran into snow at about the 10,000 feet elevation---so:  I went no higher and stayed below that level for the rest of the day.  I hope that YOU also have a great FALL season !

NOTE from EDITOR:  Declination is the difference between TRUE North and MAGNETIC North

WOW !  I just checked MY zipcode and in 1900 the difference between True & Magnetic North was 16 degrees 52 minutes East and TODAY the difference is 12 degrees 52 minutes East.  Today ( here ) the declination is changing by about 7 minutes WEST each year.  Of course, the MAIN importance of ALL of this information is that if you are using an OLD map, directions or waybill in your search for treasure---you NEED to adjust the compass headings to take into account the sometimes great difference that has occurred over the years---otherwise:  you won't even be close to where you should be searching !  GOOD LUCK !   I hope this info makes your hunt Successful !

Recently I received 4 maps I needed from NOVACELL.  High-quality maps on sturdy paper !  The 4 state counties I received were excellent copies of topo surveys done in 1884.  I now know WHERE I'll be buying ALL of my needed maps !

HOW MANY BOXES OF FAMILY PHOTOS DO YOU HAVE ?

I had 18 !  Yikes !  All of the photos I had taken over the years were just put in boxes & put in a closet---and these were some GREAT photos !  Finally someone showed me how I could put my photos on CDs and movie DVDs AND have them saved .  All of my important "treasure-related" photos are now SAVED !  It won't be long and I will have ALL of my photos on about 20 DVD "movies".  They are LOTS of FUN to watch now & SO ORGANIZED !  Check out my link and click on any link or picture you see and watch the videos to learn how YOU can do this same thing for YOUR family pictures.
